Food was salty. Steak was gristle. Salad bar was ok. Skip.

I disagree with the negative reviews. Today we went there and it was clean and the service was great. Good food and plenty of it! Last visit the salad bar was fresh, did need restocking some but we enjoyed it.

First impressions: this place needs a deep clean! BAD! Servers are un-enthusiastic. Salad bar was deserving of more stars, but menu in general was over-priced and food was mediocre. Add that to subpar service and a filthy restaurant and a 2 star review is out of reach.

Worst Ruby Tuesday ever. We had appetizer, steak, seafood, and drinks. Two Bloody Mary's, one with two olives and one with one olive NO OTHER GARNISHMENTS. The waitress (dumber than a post) brought us the wrong appetizer. She asked, literally, ever two minutes if we were ready to order. We asked for water when we ordered the appetizer, we had to ask Tiffany 3 times to bring our water. Good grief....

My experience at the Ruby Tuesday in North Plate was exactly what I expected. The food was decent and the service was good. I ordered the chicken quesadilla from appetizer menu. The portion was a bit on the small side but it was satisfying enough. I was a disappointed by the fact that they didn't have Stella Artois on tap even though the menu said it was. My biggest concern was that the containers holding the various salad topping refils sat next to the salad bar from the moment we sat down until we left. It obviously wasn't chilled since it wasn't placed into the salad bar.

We ate here last night on our way across the country. I read the reviews and they were mostly mediocre, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The service was fine, nothing too bad. We got the spinach dip and the chips were cold and stale, I got the salad bar and it was fine, not much to choose from, but everything was reasonably fresh. My husband got the spicy buffalo chicken Sandwhich and he said it was ok, hard to eat and slapped together. We decided to order desert to try and save the meal. I ordered the double chocolate fudge cake. It tasted old, the cake was stale and bland and spongy and the fruit sauce tastes like corn syrup. All in all I give the place 2 stars. The food was mediocre, however the seevice was good.

Great location, and some nice people. The Chicken Tortilla soup was good, with a nice spicy finish, however, the Tempura Green Beans were SO greasy it was disgusting. The hotel front desk guy told me he preferred Applebee's to this place, but since this restaurant was across the parking lot, I came here. A mistake for sure. I wouldn't visit again.

For North Platte, it's a good choice. As a restaurant, I give it a 3 (see below for why), but as a Ruby Tuesday, it gets a 4. Much better food and service than other Tuesdays locations I've been to. We ordered to go since we were on the road, and they left out some sides, so one star less for that. That said, my dad really like the ribs he got, so one star back to an overall A-OK.

My server's name was Charly J according to my receipt. She was extremely attentive to my order. I really appreciate the good service. It was great breath of fresh air after I have driven several hours. I ordered from their healthy portions lunch menu. I had a half chicken breast with white cheddar mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was quite delicious. I also love the bread balls that they bring to you piping warm. If you are ever around the North Platte area, I would suggest stopping at this restaurant if you want a good sit down meal.

It's okay. I think for North Platte, it's a pretty nice restaurant, but even coming from California, I'm surprised by their prices. I think their mixed drinks are just okay, not the worst, but not the best I've ever had. I got a chicken blt and it was really not what I expected, and a little greasier than what I'm used to. Still tasted okay, and I'm a little perplexed at the notion of charging extra to substitute asparagus for french fries. My server was nice, I actually graduated with her. She's propping this rating up a little bit, to be honest. That and the fact that I was in good company, making the night pleasant. 3 people, three entries, one appetizer, two mixed drinks and it amounts to about 70 dollars. Ouch. Oh well, money's not everything I guess.

Blackened Tilapia was wonderful, but the mango salsa had been sitting around for awhile, as it looked mushy. Our server, while decent, spoke extremely loud......kind of overwhelming.

Passing through and wanted a quick lunch at the bar. The food is what you would expect from a chain. Decent at best , my only gripe is the bartender seemed to bothered by me being there.

Every year we attend the Miss Nebraska Pageant held in North Platte. The host hotel is just 2 doors down from Ruby Tuesday so we frequent it often. This year, we walked in on a Thursday night at 2 min til 10:00pm (closing time). Bonnie, our server greeted us with a smile and told us to take our time and enjoy. Not to disrupt the kitchen, the five of us had the salad bar. Ruby Tuesdays has always been our favorite salad bar. It didn't disappoint us this night even though it was closing time. We told our server, the only that was missing was the croutons. She immediately returned to our table with warm, fresh out of the oven croutons. She was even courteous enough to take several pictures with 5 different phones..... we loved her! Our group then returned on Saturday night a little after 11:00pm (closing midnight). Although Bonnie wasn't working, we we're served by an equally attentive server. This time we ordered from the menu. Food was prompt and delicious. I have to say, one of my favorite things is that they serve MOSCATO! ((smile)) it's hard find restaurants (other than Olive Garden) that serve this deliciously sweet wine. Love you Ruby Tuesdays! See you next year North Platte.

I normally wouldn't review a chain restaurant but the food was actually very good. The food is the only reason they got a 2. The cook knew how to grill shrimp. Normally it's overcooked, this was very good. The service was horrible though! Very slow to take my order and they asked me how the food was when it was delivered. They literally put it in front of and asked - so how is your dinner? I had no chance to taste it at that point. From that point on no one came by to ask if everything was correct until I was done. No one asked about my drinks or asked if I wanted another beer. probably would have taken another beer. They ignored me. The staff hung out by the kitchen pass through and socialized. The customers were an interruption to their conversations. Management was also included in the group hang-out. Heavyset guy in a distinctive managment shirt with a goatee was a ring leader in the socializing. No leadership.

We went here on the TUESDAY (how sweetly coincidental) before Thanksgiving for lunch (in other words, we didn't want Runza's again). The host greeted us right away with a big smile. We were seated immediately. The decor is very nice: warm browns and black color schemes with modern, comfortable furniture and art work. The menu selections for lunch all sounded delicious; I ended up getting the mini turkey burgers that come with "endless fries" and an 'endless" trip to the salad bar. The choices at the salad bar were pretty good, and even included edamame! There were also a prepared pasta salad and noodle salad at the bar. After my yummy salad, the mini turkey burgers arrived. They were almost as big as a regular sized burger (though their large size didn't stop me from finishing off both of them). The fries were good, but I was too stuffed to take advantage of their "endless" attribute; besides, I had to leave room for Thanksgiving in a couple of days! Overall a great restaurant, and I will most likely go back next time I'm at North Platte, Nebraska.

We've eaten at different Ruby Tuesday restaurants across the US, and they've always been pretty decent. Today we were looking for salad and decided the Ruby Tuesday salad would be the ticket. It was not the best. I mean, what they had was all fine and looked fresh, but there were several empty containers in the salad bar, no ham. no bacon (maybe pork products are expensive in the mid-west?) no pasta salad, no potato salad. The lettuce was all over the "clean" plates. There wasn't even a container for tomatoes of any kind - weird. Overall service was just fine, prompt and the restaurant was clean. We got our drink refills without asking, but they never did bring us the cheesy biscuits and they never took our dirty salad plates off the table, even after my husband went back for seconds. Eh....it was ok.
